About the role
The CNC Machinist (Mill & Lathe) is responsible for operating CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precise metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling and lathe machines to manufacture metal parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and safety protocols
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in CNC machining
- Proficiency in using CNC milling and lathe machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
