CNC Machinist

Responsibilities For CNC Machine Operator Perform all required set-ups on CNC machine centers and/or lathesOperate CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality parts while maintaining optimal production levelsMonitor machines during operation to ensure proper functionality and prevent malfunctionsUse precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, snap gauges, and micrometers to verify part accuracyIdentify the appropriate set-up and tooling required for machining specific parts or assembliesFabricate component parts to meet engineering and blueprint specificationsContinuously observe machining processes to ensure adherence to quality standardsSet up and operate auxiliary equipment as needed to support machining operationsMachine metal components to desired specifications using both CNC and manual techniques Qualifications For CNC Machine Operator Minimum 2 years of experience operating and maintaining CNC equipment; programming skills and technical certifications are a plusProven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a professional and constructive mannerOver 2 years of experience setting up and operating manual machines, including lathes, mills, saws, and drillsStrong knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for various metals and alloysExtensive experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and othersProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsProficient with Fusion 360, and knowledge of Haas controls are a plus Powered by JazzHR
