CNC Machinist

About the role

Greiner Industries is seeking skilled Manual/CNC Machinists to produce and repair precision parts using manual or CNC machine tools. You'll work independently or collaboratively, using your experience to complete jobs from start to finish while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment including Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Set up machines and complete jobs with minimal supervision
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Troubleshoot production issues and apply problem-solving skills in real time
• Keep documentation of part dimensions and any deviations
• Work safely in a production environment and follow established procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in manual or CNC machining
• Experience with Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and presses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using manual machining equipment such as Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and presses
• Experience with CNC machine tools
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision tool usage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay

Min USD $26.00/Hr. Max USD $42.00/Hr.

Schedule

Schedule: First Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm) or Second Shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am)
