Key Responsibilities
- Machining & Operations: Set up and operate milling, Haas and Grob CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining of stainless-steel parts.
- Read and Interpret: Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC Mills: Program CNC mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches.
- Monitor Operations: Monitor operations, verifying settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces to maintain strict quality standards.
- Maintain Specifications: Maintain machining specifications by observing, measuring, and inspecting parts for precision.
- Detect Malfunctions: Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to controls and tooling.
- Adhere to Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
- Perform Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, calling for repairs when needed.
- Maintain Workspace: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with company safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines (preferably Haas & Grob).
- Proficiency: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and precision measuring instruments.
- Operations: Experience in CNC operations, troubleshooting, and setting up mills.
Work Schedule
Fixed schedule, 1st and 2nd shift with a 45-minute lunch. Some evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
