CNC Machinist

Emerge is recruiting qualified candidates for a CNC Machinist role in the Western Cleveland, OH area for a growing precision manufacturer that supports government and military work. This position offers a stable, team-oriented environment where quality and craftsmanship are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large machining centers to produce precision components
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
• Select tooling and make setup changes to support production goals
• Adjust CNC programs and machining processes as needed
• Measure and inspect parts to confirm accuracy and quality standards
• Work with hand tools, measuring equipment, and crane-assisted material handling when required
• Support continuous improvement efforts and share knowledge with team members
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Requirements

• 3 or more years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience working with complex, low-volume, high-precision parts
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience using gauges and inspection tools to verify part quality
• Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to work well in a team environment and assist others as needed

Pay

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $2.00 shift premium for off shifts.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Days and Nights available)
• Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights), paid for 40 hours
