Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offsets
- Monitor machining operations and adjust machine settings as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Follow OSHA, safety procedures, and company policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of G-code, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
