One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team in Madison, WI.

Schedule
2nd/3rd shift
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining centers
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to manufacture precision components
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for production runs
- Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling adjustments as needed
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain product quality and minimize downtime
- Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as required
- Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges
- Knowledge of G-code editing and basic CNC programming
