CNC Machinist

About the role

A CNC Operator/Machinist is needed for a growing team in Greenville, South Carolina. Responsibilities include operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines, modifying G-Code scripts, using 3D modeling, and working on unique prototype parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines
• Modify G-Code scripts as needed
• Use 3D modeling and geometry understanding
• Make unique setups and operations for prototype parts
• Solve problems related to prototype parts
• Utilize CAD/CAM software (optional)
• Communicate effectively within the team
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

Requirements

• Arrive on time, consistently, and complete shifts
• Follow safety rules and standards
• Follow instructions from direct supervisor

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of G-Code commands and modifications
• Experience with Tormach machines preferred but not required
• Self-starter, motivated, and dependable
• Desire to be part of a growing team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• CAD/CAM software knowledge a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, driving a pickup truck
