CNC Machinist
Direct Start
This is a job shop and you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. We are looking for Machinists not operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lathes: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machines or parts, ensuring minimal downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of orders
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
Mills
- Experience setting up machine including tooling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and instruments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
