About the Role
CNC Machinists play a vital role within Bray Controls. We compensate machinists for continuing their education in areas that will further their knowledge and expertise. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and accurately
- Make appropriate adjustments to CNC machines as needed
- Read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment to confirm dimensions and accuracy
- Inspect 1st article parts by using hand tools or CMM
- Complete paperwork and documentation to assure proper procedure specifications are met
- Inspect samples for production specifications
- Work with little or no administrative support
- Maintain a healthy and clean work environment
- Follow company production procedures
- Adapt to change and new situations
- Express opinions openly while managing conflict and moving your team toward problem resolution
Qualifications
- At least 5-10 years' experience in setting up and operating CNC machines
- High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Ability to use basic computer programs
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment
- High energy, flexible, self-starter
- Attention to detail and precision in work
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Additional overtime may be required as needed and can include Saturdays. Overtime can lead to 10-12 hour shifts and potentially 8 hours on Saturdays.
