CNC Machinist

About the Role

CNC Machinists play a vital role within Bray Controls. We compensate machinists for continuing their education in areas that will further their knowledge and expertise. Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and accurately
• Make appropriate adjustments to CNC machines as needed
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment to confirm dimensions and accuracy
• Inspect 1st article parts by using hand tools or CMM
• Complete paperwork and documentation to assure proper procedure specifications are met
• Inspect samples for production specifications
• Work with little or no administrative support
• Maintain a healthy and clean work environment
• Follow company production procedures
• Adapt to change and new situations
• Express opinions openly while managing conflict and moving your team toward problem resolution

Qualifications

• At least 5-10 years' experience in setting up and operating CNC machines
• High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Ability to use basic computer programs
• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment
• High energy, flexible, self-starter
• Attention to detail and precision in work

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Additional overtime may be required as needed and can include Saturdays. Overtime can lead to 10-12 hour shifts and potentially 8 hours on Saturdays.
