Description
Mach3 Machine is a large-part precision machining company specializing in complex, close-tolerance components. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Cuyahoga Falls.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, or Fanuc-controlled Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM).
- Determine machine setups, tooling requirements, and machining sequences to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Load, unload, and secure raw materials and finished workpieces.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and finished part requirements.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including: Micrometers (OD/ID), Calipers, & Dial Indicators.
- Ensure components meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Identify, stage, and label materials for production and downstream operations.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts when required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, Manual Machinist, HBM Operator, Lathe Machinist, or Mill Machinist.
- Experience performing machine setups and operating machining equipment independently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong understanding of machining practices, feeds, speeds, tooling, and tolerances.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
- With Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM).
- Fanuc CNC control experience.
- G-Code and M-Code programming knowledge.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience.
- Experience machining alloy steels and large fabricated components.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physical activities include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching as necessary.
- Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required.
