About the Role
As an Entry-Level Tooling Machinist, you'll work alongside experienced machinists and toolmakers while developing valuable technical skills.
What You'll Do
- Learn how to sharpen and maintain tooling components using precision grinding equipment
- Assist with machining operations including drilling, milling, turning, and CNC machining
- Help build, repair, and maintain molds and tooling used in manufacturing
- Learn CNC machine setup and make basic program adjustments
- Read and interpret prints, measurements, and specifications
- Maintain quality standards and follow safe work practices
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and ready for use
- Collaborate with tooling, engineering, and production teams to solve problems and improve processes

Preferred Qualifications
- Technical coursework, certification, or degree in Machining, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, Machine Tool Technology, or a related field
- Previous experience in a machine shop, manufacturing environment, internship, or technical program
- Familiarity with basic machining tools and measuring equipment
