About the role
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience, but we welcome those with limited experience to apply as well.
Responsibilities
- Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed.
- Ability to learn to perform your own programming and running your details.
- Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required.
- Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results.
- Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration.
- Keep work area clean.
- Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
- Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours.
Requirements
- Basic CNC operating experience (ideally 1 year)
- Basic knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds.
- Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
- Candidate must have valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Programming experience using Gibbs Cam
- PREFERRED: Programming experience using Gibbs Cam
Skills
- Basic CNC operating skills
- Basic knowledge of cutters and inserts
