CNC Machinist Apprentice

About the Role

JD Machine Corp. in Ogden, UT is seeking to hire full-time CNC Machinist Apprentices to be trained on-the-job from experienced machinists. No experience is preferred. This is an opportunity to be paid to learn a skilled trade with a bright future in a satisfying career.

Responsibilities

• Run a CNC machine making parts for customers from day one
• Check for quality and make adjustments to ensure finished products meet customer expectations
• Gain education to learn about the world of CNC machinery

• Ability to think through mathematical problems
• High mechanical aptitude

Pay & Benefits

• Starts at $17.00/hr with opportunity for a $1/hr raise every six months as you progress through the apprenticeship program

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Training shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Once ready, move to swing shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.
• Weekend shift option: 12 hours a day for three days
