About the role

SB Tool Company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team in Shelby Twp, MI. The ideal candidate will have 25-30 years of experience in aerospace machining.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy of machined components.
• Perform quality checks on machined parts using inspection tools.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 25 years of experience in aerospace machining.
• Proficiency with various CNC machines such as mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of metalworking processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming languages such as G-code and CAM software.
• Experience with metrology tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
