CNC Machinist — Prototype

About the role

Industry: Industrial gear manufacturing. Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA. Employment: Direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to machine precision components.
• Select tooling and fixtures; adjust feeds, speeds, and machining methods as needed.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, 3D models, GD&T, and G-code.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and complete required quality documentation.
• Work with the team to resolve machining and setup issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and completing prototype or low-quantity machining jobs.
• Experience turning or milling precision parts.
• Ability to interpret drawings and inspect finished work.

Schedule

Second shift, 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.
