We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to produce high-quality, precision-machined components. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, continuous learning, and working with advanced machine tools.

You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual equipment to meet exact specifications while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

This is a physically active role, requiring standing for most of the shift and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines and other shop equipment to produce precision parts
  • Plan and execute machining operations from raw material to finished product
  • Interpret engineering drawings, routings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Perform basic machine offsets and setups to ensure accurate production
  • Use precision measuring tools and gauges to verify part quality
  • Operate equipment such as:
    • CNC Machines (FANUC controls)
    • Milling machines
    • Surface grinders
    • Drill presses
    • Hand tools and inspection equipment
  • Meet production timelines while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of machining experience, including CNC setup and operation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with FANUC controls
  • Background in precision machining for industrial or oil & gas applications
  • Experience with inspection tools and quality standards
  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    • On your feet 90–95% of the shift
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
    • Work in a machine shop / heavy equipment environment
    • Required use of appropriate PPE and safety procedures

    Additional Requirements
