A Day in Your Life
As a CNC Machinist 2 at MKS, you will:
- Operate CNC lathe equipment to produce parts meeting dimensional specifications.
- Be responsible for machining, cleaning, and inspecting your own work.
- Work independently and follow direction from the Team Lead.
- Ensure correct machine operation.
- Conduct random inspections of parts to ensure conformity to required specifications, including visual inspection with a microscope.
- Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
- Resolve and communicate problems/issues to the supervisor.
- Perform a variety of other repetitive tasks to maintain efficiency and a clean, safe work environment.
Skills Required
- A high school or trade school diploma.
- 3+ years CNC machinist or machine operator experience.
- Ability to monitor tool wear and make dimensional adjustments (offsets).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring instruments (MICS, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to work efficiently to achieve targeted goals.
- Flexibility, reliability, self-starting team player with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $17.31-32.12 per hour.
- This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Additional Information
- This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS.
