Requirements
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines and machining centers to produce precision components while meeting quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
- Work with blueprints and GD&T requirements, inspect your own work using precision measuring tools, and troubleshoot issues to help keep production running smoothly.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems, improve processes, and support continuous improvement efforts such as 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a two-year technical degree preferred.
- Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment is required, along with strong knowledge of machine tooling, fixtures, machining processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
- Basic familiarity with precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges, and machine programming features and ERP systems.
- Strong math skills, communication skills, and a dependable, safety-focused mindset are essential.
