A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a CNC Machinist 1 at MKS Inc., you will partner with Operations to process high-precision optics on various CNC machines. In this position, you will report to the Filters Unit Production Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: Operating multiple CNC cutting machines Prioritizing workload to ensure on-time delivery goals are met Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to correctly process substrates to meet customer requirements Working safely and looking out for the safety of your co-workers Maintaining productive communication with other team members, including production planning and management Travel Requirements: Up to [Please Insert] % of Travel is required. Skills You Bring: 1+ years experience operating CNC machines Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to effectively solve problems and adapt to changing conditions Excellent attention to detail and follow through Preferred Skills: Experience processing glass substrates on CNC machines Writing programs for CNC machines Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Ability to lift 20 lbs. Ability to stand for at least 50% of the time Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $16.70 - 27.83hr is range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
