About the role

The CNC Machining Cell Supervisor will oversee a team of operators using Makino and 5-axis UMC machines. Responsibilities include managing the production line, ensuring quality control, and training new employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of CNC machining cells, including Makino and 5-axis UMC machines.
• Manage the production line to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Train new employees on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining operations.
• Experience supervising a team of machinists.
• Strong knowledge of Makino and 5-axis UMC machines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and lean manufacturing principles.
