Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CNC DMG-Mori and Okuma milling and lathe machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.
  • Adjust machine settings and parameters as needed to ensure optimal performance and output
  • Inspect parts for defects or deviations from specifications using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Perform routine quality checks and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Ensure the final products meet company and customer quality standards

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow safety procedures, guidelines, and standards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) such as goggles, gloves, hearing protection, etc.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to ensure workplace safety and compliance

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience - previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing environment preferred, but training will be provided
  • Attention to Detail - strong ability to identify defects or deviations in production
  • Physical Stamina - ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
  • Communication – basic written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
  • Safety Knowledge – understanding of safety standards and ability to adhere to them

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing plant, warehouse, or production facility
  • Exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and potential hazards
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
  • May require shift work, including nights, or overtime, depending on production schedules
