CNC Machine Operator Lead - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position is responsible for fabricating and machining various metal components to exacting tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and machine metal components using various machines.
• Follow detailed blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Operate multiple machines including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in metal fabrication or machining.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and manual tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with metalworking processes such as turning, milling, and grinding.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and personal protective equipment.
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings.

Skills

• Proficient in using CAD/CAM software.
• Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the job.
