What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate will manufacture quality Trantorque products by performing preset, set-up and operation of CNC lathes and PLC and/or CNC secondary machines
• Finish, assemble, package and perform material handling duties
• Operate CNC Machine Cell with minimal assistance
• Measure parts, make offset wear adjustments, and change worn tools (in a timely manner)
• Read and interpret work orders and comments to ensure product accuracy
• Follow ISO work instruction standards after training and sign-off
• Adjust equipment and processes to meet product specifications
• Ask for help when needed to ensure successful production and minimize scrap
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using the “6S” system
• Embrace changes in the work environment to support internal and external customer satisfaction
• Adapt to shifting work priorities as needed
• Promote safety by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Has a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience (1–3 months preferred)
• Is detail-oriented and comfortable using measurement tools
• Has previous CNC operating experience
• Can read and comprehend technical documents and work orders
• Is committed to safety and continuous improvement
• Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively
• Is adaptable to changing priorities and open to learning new processes
• Demonstrates initiative and a positive attitude
• Willing to grow and take on new responsibilities
