CNC Lathe Operator

About the role

Alicat Scientific manufactures mass flow and pressure instrumentation used across various industries. The CNC Lathe Operator position involves operating CNC lathes to produce precise parts according to blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and tool the machine
• Set offsets and run production cycles
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
• Adjust tool offsets, speeds, and feeds
• Perform daily maintenance and keep the work area clean
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
• 1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing, particularly with CNC turning equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs
• Basic understanding of G-code/M-code and tool offsets
• Proficiency in basic math
