CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a Lathe Set Up Machinist to produce precision orthopedic components within a regulated medical device environment. Key Responsibilities Include Setting up and operating CNC and manual lathesSelecting tooling and loading programsVerifying first-piece and in-process dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesReading blueprints and understanding GD&T specificationsAdjusting offsets to maintain tight tolerancesDocumenting inspections in compliance with ISO/FDA standardsFollowing safety protocols and 5S practicesCollaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement Qualifications And Skills Experience with CNC and manual lathe operationsProficiency in reading blueprints, GD&T, and measurement toolsKnowledge of medical device standards and quality documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety
