CNC Lathe Machinist

Lathe Set Up Machinist producing precision orthopedic components in a regulated medical device environment. Key Duties Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to machine components to specification.Select appropriate tooling and load/prepare machine programs.Perform first-piece verification and monitor in-process dimensions using precision gauges.Troubleshoot machining, setup, and dimensional issues in collaboration with engineering and quality.Hold tight tolerances and ensure adherence to established manufacturing procedures.Document work and results according to required processes. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency setting up and operating CNC and manual lathe equipment.Strong knowledge of tooling selection, programming/program loading, and machining processes.Ability to inspect parts accurately and maintain compliance with tight dimensional tolerances.Skilled troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, integrity, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
