CNC Laser Table Operator, Peds

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain quality production on the CNC laser table.
• Program the CNC using CAD/CAM software.
• Import and edit DXF, DWG, and NC1 files within Radan software.
• Load and unload raw materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular maintenance including daily cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities (project lists, task lists, deadlines).
• Work in tandem with the foreman and project manager to drive project success.
• Select and install cutting consumables, adjust machine settings, and monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet required specifications.
• Keep unloaded parts tidy on pallets or in buckets and organize them appropriately.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrate competence in the use of tape measures and calipers.
• Be competent with computers and able to navigate files.
• Read and interpret fabrication and part drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50+ pounds and be on your feet most of the day (8-10+ hour shifts).
• Friendly personality and willingness to work as part of a team and be cross-trained if necessary.
• Proficiency in learning modern CAD/CAM software.
• Proficiency in nesting for CNC laser machines.
• Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
