CNC Laser Operator Trainee

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up tools and equipment to operate CNC laser equipment.
• Assist with forming/cutting material as specified by work orders and blueprints/diagrams.
• Complete necessary quality inspections of produced products.
• Follow all verbal and written instructions for the operation of the CNC laser machine and related equipment.
• Create Work-In-Process or Finished Goods/Inventory Tickets using appropriate computer skills.
• Handle parts, practice general housekeeping, and follow safety guidelines.
• Successfully complete training courses including RFC Academy, Basic Quality, Math, Blueprint Reading, and CNC trainee-level courses.

Qualifications

• One to three months of related experience and/or training in CNC machines, machine set-up, metalworking, welding/fabrication.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing software and ability to learn new programs.
• Able to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Able to work shifts assigned and overtime as needed.
• Consistent experience in manufacturing settings in set-up and machine operation or metal fabrication.

See attached description for details. Open Shifts: We are currently seeking candidates for WE-Nights WE/N: 6:00PM - 6:00AM Friday, Saturday & Sunday $4.50/hr. shift premium. Employees hired for Weekend shift will train on 1st shift.

Pay

Earning potential: Trainee range is $23/hr. with opportunity for pay-for-skill promotions and time-based pay adjustments. Apprentice at $24/hr.; Qualified $25.50/hr.; Certified $27.25 and Master $30.00/hr.
