CNC Laser Operator

UE Manufacturing is hiring a CNC Laser Operator located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.

Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine/burn table.
• Reviews and understands 3D CAD blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job orders to determine specifications and desired results.
• Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Conducts test runs to verify machine outputs meet specifications.
• Sets machines to complete full cycles for fabricating large numbers of parts.
• Supervises machines during operation and makes necessary adjustments for optimal results.
• Inspects and measures finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Checks and maintains machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Provides training to new operators as needed.
• Maintains a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of electronics, machine tools, and fabrication metal shop work.
• Excellent reading comprehension and math skills, including algebra, trigonometry, and physics.
• Ability to continue education for new techniques and programs as they emerge.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate’s Degree in CNC programming, computer-related field, or mechanical field preferred.
• CNC certification from an accredited technical school preferred.
