CNC Laser Operator 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts

About the Role

We are seeking production team members for our CNC Laser operations on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts at our metal stamping facility. This role offers steady work, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Startup, operation, and shutdown of CNC fiber laser machine.
• Select nozzles for particular material being processed.
• Load programs and set machine parameters to achieve best performance.
• Perform first, last, and periodical checks on parts and complete associated quality documents.
• Follow routers, schedules, and work instructions.
• Communicate machine/quality issues to maintenance and quality support personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred but not required.
• Basic reading, writing, and some advanced math skills required.
• Ability to use hand tools and machines proficiently.
• Experience measuring, cutting, or working on items with great accuracy.
• Excitement to learn a new skill and follow set instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and proven teamwork abilities.
• Self-starter with a strong work record in safety, quality, and dependability.

Physical Requirements

The work environment and physical demands include:

• Majority of time spent in a plant environment, subject to noise, dust, oils, some chemicals, and occasional uncomfortable temperatures.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn, including but not limited to: eye, ear, foot, and other protective devices as required.
• Weekly and weekend overtime required.
• Accountability for quality, productivity, and safety goals.

Pay

Base pay starts at $19.30+ per hour (depending on experience), with a $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 5:55 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, plus overtime as needed.
• 2nd shift: 1:55 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday, plus overtime as needed.
• 3rd shift: 7:55 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday–Wednesday, plus overtime as needed.
