Responsibilities
- Operate laser and related equipment safely and accurately
- Load and unload parts and materials into machines
- Monitor machines during operation and detect any malfunctions
- Assemble and process parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Record production and operational data as needed
- Follow all safety and quality procedures consistently
- Support general manufacturing tasks as needed on the shop floor
Requirements
- Demonstrates competence to perform essential duties and responsibilities during a 90-day introductory period
- Demonstrates inspection competence
- Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
- Basic mathematical skills
- Mechanical and technical capacity
- Strong time management skills
- 2–3 years of CNC laser cutting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Proven experience cutting aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical competence with solid math and measurement skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable teammate with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (Mon–Thurs, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM)
Schedule
2nd shift: 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
