CNC Instructor- Adjunct

Duties And Responsibilities

• Competency and comprehensive understanding in the programming and operation of various CNC manufacturing equipment.
• Taught skills include: G and M Codes, CAD 2-D or 3-D tool paths, down loading CNC Programs, speed and feed theory with carbide tooling experience, computer aided drafting design technology - Auto CAD, CNC operations/maintenance, inspection and gauging equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Specialized training of at least 3 years (6,000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience as a CNC programmer/machinist in both the operation and programming of CNC Machines.
• Must meet minimum experience and education requirements as outlined by the Iowa Code sections 260C.47 and 260C.48 and the Northeast Iowa Community College Quality Faculty Plan.
