CNC Hard Turn Operator

Essential Functions

• Operate and tend to Mazak CNC machine.
• Load, unload, make simple offsets, and change wheel packs.
• Troubleshoot programs, create, and dress wheel packs.
• Set up machine per the setup sheet or customer print.
• Verify machine setup by inspecting and verifying product characteristics are within tolerance per the part print specifications.
• Clean parts and move them to the next operation.
• Perform weekly or monthly machine maintenance.
• Maintain tools.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Afford assistance and train, as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Visual acuity for detailed work.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
