About the role
The Field Service Engineer plays a crucial part in maintaining CNC machinery for our customers, ensuring their operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Install new or modified equipment at the customer’s facility and ensure full functionality according to specifications
- Analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine the source of problems, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions
- Coordinate problem resolution with factory or Phillips inside service support to expedite repairs
- Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Update and complete current incomplete service reports to reflect accurately and completely the work performed
- Provide feedback to the factory to help update and make changes to the service procedure used in troubleshooting and completing repairs to the machine in the field
- Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer
- Conduct training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees, including both team members and customers
Requirements
- Experience with maintenance on CNC machines
- Valid driver’s license
- A high mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally
- Ability to keep track of expenses and manage paperwork relating to maintenance completed

Pay
The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $55,000.00 and $75,000.00 per year.
Schedule
This role requires significant road travel, with possible overnight stays.
