CNC Drill Operator/Set-up/Programmer

About the role

Yetter Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Macomb, Illinois. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, programming and setting up machines, and producing high-quality parts, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load materials and monitor machine performance
• Make adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment checks
• Troubleshoot issues and work with team members to improve processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining, setup, and/or programming experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with CNC machines, tooling, and machining processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and mathematical ability
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record

Qualifications

• First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Monday through Friday plus required overtime as scheduled
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying seasonal temperatures, noise, machinery, and other typical factory conditions.
• Physically active position requiring standing for the duration of the shift, repetitive work, and regular lifting up to 50lbs.

Pay

Competitive pay offered.

Schedule

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday plus required overtime as scheduled.
