CNC Cutter/Grinder Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7am
Full‑time Metalworking position located in St Henry, OH (TEG). Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Brief Position Summary: Regrind, recondition and/or manufacture cutting tools per instructions.
Responsibilities
- Grind tools per work instructions
- Inspect tools per print
- Setup machine before starting work order instructions
- Return tooling to proper location after completion of work order instruction
- Train others as needed
- Report & communicate on a daily basis to Shop Supervisor
- Drive the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to inspect tools per print
- Ability to read work order instructions
- Ability to train others
Working Conditions
- Stationed in the shop approximately 95% of working time
- Occasional overtime hours required
- Work in a fast‑pace environment
- Work under deadlines
- Minimal hazards; general shop working conditions
Training
- 8 weeks on‑site job training with other Tru‑Edge associate – work 100% checked
- Safety training to be completed in the first 6 months: General Safety Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Safety Plan
Compensation
Starting at $19.62 – $28.77 per hour, depending on candidate location and experience. The range is based on similar roles in comparable industries and local cost of labor. Actual compensation is based on relevant experience, education, and peer pay equity. The company may modify the range as market conditions change.
