About the role

Design the future of golf innovation as a CNC/CAM Project Engineer, transforming cutting-edge concepts into functional prototypes that drive next-generation product development.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage NX CAD modeling and advanced 5-axis CNC machining to design, program, and manufacture prototype club heads, components, and precision fixtures.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, develop machining strategies, determine cutting parameters for a variety of metal alloys, and apply expertise in welding, adhesives, castings, coatings, composites, and joint design to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Bridge prototype development to large-scale manufacturing by providing design recommendations, creating fixturing solutions, maintaining CNC shop operations, and contributing to patentable innovations that advance product performance and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required; equivalent professional experience in CNC/CAM engineering, machining, and prototype development may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of CAD/CAM programming experience, preferably using Siemens NX (Unigraphics) or comparable software such as SDRC or Delcam.
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including operation of CNC mills, lathes, and manual mills and lathes.
  • 3+ years of welding experience, with the ability to support prototype development and fabrication projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and manufacturing prototypes for high-performance applications.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in CNC/CAM programming and machining.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and CNC machines.

Skills

  • CAD/CAM programming skills, particularly using Siemens NX or similar software.
  • Advanced CNC machining skills, including operation of various CNC machines and manual mills/lathes.
  • Welding and fabrication techniques for prototype development.
  • Expertise in materials science, including metals, composites, and adhesives.
  • Ability to solve complex engineering problems and optimize designs for manufacturability.

Pay

$90,018.00 - $112,391.00 annually.
