Key Job Responsibilities
- Setup, program-edit and run cutting tables
- Must be able to learn and operate other prep equipment
- Finish product with grinders, sanders, and hand tools
- Perform daily preventive maintenance to assigned equipment
- Read blueprints and use general measuring equipment
- Safely move material using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Clean and maintain the work area
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Absorb and assist in other manufacturing areas when needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- The ability to apply knowledge of shop math, machinability or materials and drawings
- Download programs via disc, flash drive or direct connect
- Perform cuts and required nesting as defined by production
- Accurate completion of production and Quality Control sheets
- Accurate completion of work order based on production schedule
- Read operator’s book and make appropriate parts correctly
