Burner - Mechanical Fabrication Shop

Job Summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Burner to support the Mechanical Fabrication Shop. The primary function of this role is to cut and groove pipe to print in the Fabrication Shop. This position is represented by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #219.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Reviewing pipe required for job area.
• Calling in pipe from the yard.
• Cutting pipe to length and grooving/threading.
• Reading blueprints and sketches and handling pipe accordingly.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop.
• Experience with basic computer systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (a plus).
