Responsibilities

  • Perform work as assigned by Group Leader.
  • Load raw material into a CNC fixture utilizing pneumatic air guns and/or torque wrenches.
  • Cycle start the CNC machine to execute the selected program.
  • Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to a Group Leader.
  • Work as a team member and communicate work-related issues as needed.
  • Perform typical machine shop operations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

  • Able to work under moderate supervision while following established methods and procedures to perform operations required for successful manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or move about the facility.
  • Safety Mindset: Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.
  • Demonstrated longevity of at least eight consecutive months in previous employment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and conduct business in English with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Working experience on CNC machines.
  • Reliable, on-time attendance record; ability to efficiently reach productivity goals.
  • Adaptability: Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures; ability to work overtime when required; eagerness to learn processes and procedures in multiple areas.
