Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Dana in Dry Ridge, KY is currently hiring Assembly Associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly functions in preparing automotive drive-train components and any related processes including painting, welding, material handling, problem-solving and training
• Support 100% on-time delivery goals, 100% quality rating goals, and production standards
• Visually recognize the difference in parts
• Use hands to perform simple operations
• Use hand tools
• Stand for the duration of your shift
• Lift 5–75 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp, and pinch on a continual basis
• Work with oils and lubricants
• Read and interpret instruction sheets
• Operate multi-function machinery
• Work without supervision

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team skills
• Available to work any of the available shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred

Pay

$18/hr base pay. 2nd and 3rd shifts include a $0.30/hr shift premium.

Schedule

Standard shifts: 1st Shift 6am–2pm, 2nd Shift 2pm–10pm, 3rd Shift 10pm–6am. Overtime opportunities of 4 hours before or after the shift are available.
