Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble chairs and related components following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment to complete production tasks efficiently.
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet Gasser Chair's quality standards, reporting any issues to the Assembly Manager.
- Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency and contribute improvement suggestions.
- Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support fellow associates to ensure smooth workflow across the assembly line.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment preferred.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day. The role involves walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions. The work environment may include exposure to heat, noise, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing setting.
