CNC Applications Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on CNC Applications Engineer to support machine installations, customer training, and process optimization, with up to 70% travel. Responsibilities Include Installing, commissioning, and supporting CNC grinding machines at customer sites.Developing and optimizing grinding applications and machining processes tailored to customer needs.Providing operator training and technical instruction on machine operation and programming.Conducting machine demonstrations and proving operations.Troubleshooting machine, process, and application issues to ensure optimal performance.Assisting in preparing technical proposals, time studies, and documentation to support sales.Documenting processes and expanding technical expertise through hands-on experience and training. Qualifications Include 3+ years of experience with CNC machine tools, including programming, applications, installation, or training.Preference for CNC grinding or precision machining exposure.Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with shop equipment and measurement tools.Ability to troubleshoot and develop practical solutions independently.Effective communication skills for technical presentations and customer training.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business software.Capability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Experience with time studies and process documentation is advantageous.
