The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley now houses 171 beds. We are a Level III Trauma center, STEMI Cardiac receiving center, and certified stroke treatment center. Our hospital is equipped with advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment, and we are the only designated trauma center west of I-15 in the Salt Lake Valley. Recently awarded the Women's Choice Award for America's 100 Best Hospitals Emergency Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Requirements
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required.
- State registered CNA license required.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred; required if sitting with M-1 holds.
Physical Requirements
Medium Work - Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
Pay
$17.00 - $23.82 per hour.
