Position Summary
The Certified Nurse Aide Instructor is responsible for the instruction of students in the 90-hour NJ State Certified Nurse Aide curriculum at CCM and at related partner clinical training sites. All instruction is in accordance with NJ Department of Health NATCEP requirements.
Qualifications - Education
- Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- NJ Registered Nurse License in good standing.
- Evidence of approval by the NJ Department of Health as an approved Nurse Aide Instructor.
Qualifications - Experience
- Prior work experience as a Nurse Aide Instructor or Evaluator is highly desirable.
- Prior work experience in a long-term care setting is highly desirable.
Qualifications - Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related field of specialization.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use technology in education as appropriate to the subject matter.
- Please be specific in stating your areas of expertise and experience.
- 3+ years professional work experience in the subject area.
- At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience with non-traditional adult students preferred.
Work Hours
