AI Instructor- Workforce Development Instructor (Pooled Position)

Qualifications - Education

Bachelor’s or higher degree in subject area. Will consider AS degree or industry relevant certification(s) with strong work history and demonstrated subject matter expertise. Professional designations or certifications as appropriate to content being taught required.

Qualifications - Experience

• Demonstrated experience working with AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, or applied AI tools)
• Proven ability to develop curriculum for both:
• Technical learners (e.g., data/AI professionals)
• Non-technical users (e.g., business, administrative, or general workforce audiences)
• Working knowledge of how AI systems are applied in organizational settings, including basic concepts such as automation workflows, tool integration, or AI-assisted decision-making
• Experience with core ideas in responsible AI use, such as data privacy, bias, and appropriate human oversight
• Strong ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible way
• Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience preferred

Qualifications - Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related field of specialization
• Exposure to emerging concepts such as AI agents, workflow automation tools, or low-code/no-code AI platform
• Knowledge of Python, machine learning frameworks, and/or AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot)
• Industry certifications or advanced degree in a related field
