About the role

Fairmount Homes is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Weekend Program Team. Develop your nursing career in a supportive environment while providing exceptional care to older adults in our Skilled Nursing neighborhood. Located on a beautiful 70+ acre campus in rural Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Fairmount Homes is a faith-based community founded on Christ's love and Mennonite values.

Schedule

• Two 12-hour weekend night shifts (6:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m., Saturday and Sunday)
• May include an 8-hour night shift during the week
• Must work 48 of 52 weekends per year

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation, positioning, and personal care
• Reporting changes in resident condition promptly to the charge nurse
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs, weights, intake and output, calorie counts, and other assigned observations
• Helping residents maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified appearance
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
• Supporting Fairmount's mission and core values while contributing to a culture of teamwork and excellence

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or actively enrolled in a CNA training program
• Genuine desire to work with older adults and serve others with compassion and respect
• Kind, patient, cheerful, and professional in interactions with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting Fairmount Homes' mission, philosophy, and values

Pay

$31.55 – $34.10 per Hour
