CNA / Transportation Aide

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Transportation Aide to combine clinical skills with driving expertise to provide exceptional care and transportation services to our residents using the facility’s bus/van.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care and services that support patient care in the facility.
• Report incidents, accidents, changes in patient/resident condition, requests, problems, and complaints to a supervisor.
• Assist patients with bathing, changing linens, positioning, hydration, and checking in.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Escort patients/residents from rooms to vehicles and appointments.
• Safely drive facility vehicles to transport patients/residents to and from appointments.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate classification for passenger van/bus in the state of operation.
• Must be a licensed CNA in good standing with the state (as required).
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Prior experience transporting patients preferred.

Pay

USD $21.00 – $23.00 per hour. The wage range reflects factors such as skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
