About the Role

Cayuga Health System offers a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program with the opportunity to work as a Resident Assistant before starting the class. This program is designed for individuals looking to further their education in the healthcare field. Training takes place at our Seneca View location in Montour Falls, NY. After completion of the class, new CNAs will be placed on evening/night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid CNA training program at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Work as a Resident Assistant prior to starting the CNA class.
• After certification, work evening/night shifts and weekends.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED completion.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Skills

• Patience, strong attention to detail, empathy, and compassion.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, walking, and lifting supplies for long periods.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.

Location and Schedule

Location: Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility - 220 Steuben Street, Montour Falls, NY 14865.

Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
